Terms and Conditions of Barking Voices__
The following terms and conditions are in effect as soon as you sign up for any service offered from Barking Voices
Signing up.
You can sign up through email. No telephone or spoken sign-ups are required
You can pay Barking Voices via PayPal or bank transfer. The sign-up means you are bound to these terms and conditions.
After signing up you will receive a confirmation via email. The duration of the services offered and the content will be explained in the email.
The trainer will act in the best interest of the dog and can therefore order a rest for a dog or put a halt on further training sessions.
Barking Voices is allowed to refuse the participation to anyone without having to give a reason. It´s “first come first serve”. Barking Voices reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event/service.
Fees.
Fees for all of the training sessions, workshops or assessments should be paid at the time of booking. Places are only secure with payment.
If not done so, Barking Voices reserves the right to refuse participation in the service you have signed up for.
Fees and prices are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel your training sessions, workshops or assessments please inform Barking Voices, providing 48 hours notice. Cancelled appointments within less than 48 hours will not be refunded. For cancellations the following applies
- 2 weeks+: full refund
- Between 2 weeks and 72 hours: 50% refund on original booking and 25% discount on your re-arranged booking.
- Less than 72 hours: no refund on original booking and 50% discount on your rearranged booking.
- Less than 48 hours. notice no refund and no discount on rearranged bookings.
In case the participant or the participants´ dog becomes ill, so that they cannot take part in the event/service, you have to show a doctors or licensed veterinarian note stating such. You will then be fully refunded.
Events/services generally take place in every weather.
In case of a change of date, place or time, Barking Voices will inform the participant.
Barking Voices reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event/service.
If the event/service takes place with a smaller group, Barking Voices reserves the right to shorten the time/length of the event/service accordingly.
Barking Voices will not refund any costs that are caused by a third party (e.g. flights, hotels, etc.).
Behaviour in and around the training areas
You have to follow the guidelines of the trainers of Barking Voices. Dogs must be on lead if not worked, unless the trainer gives consent that you can walk your dog off-lead in this area. Please note to always be friendly with pedestrians and traffic participants. You are required to wear a high vis vest or similar, especially when working your dog in areas with a lot of traffic. Barking Voices does not take any responsibility for interference with the law or injuries while participating in the event/service.
During Mantrailing sessions, your dogs are to be left in the car or securely closed in while we are working other dogs. It is the dog owner’s responsibility to make sure that the car has enough air circulation/flow and water is provided for the dogs’ health and safety.
Health of the dogs
Barking voices would ask that all dog’s attending our training sessions and services provided are fully vaccinated however we don’t ask for proof of this, if your dog isn’t vaccinated you are attending our training sessions, workshops, assessments at your own risk and we take no responsibility for any ill-health due to this.
UNACCEPTABLE EQUIPMENT
Barking Voices is using only force-free, reward-based training methods and as such will not accept the following in classes:-
Choke/Check Chain
Prong/Pinch Collar
Electric Shock Collar
Retractable leads for safety reasons
Chain leads for practical reasons
Rope/Slip leads
We do not allow the dogs to be under any form of physical punishment including lead jerks, smacks, taps or pinning down of your dog.
If you do this in any of our training sessions, workshops, assessments you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

Harnesses with front and back rings
Toys including balls and soft toys

Clickers
The participant ensures that the dog is free of diseases and fully vaccinated. If a bitch comes or is in season, the event/service organiser has to be informed. If a dog falls ill shortly before or during the event/service, Barking voices is to be informed immediately to discuss further action and prevent a possible disease from spreading. All dogs accepted require to be de-wormed and de-flead regularly.
Liability and insurance
The participation in any events/services offered by Barking Voices is on your own risk which means the insurance lies with the participant/s themselves. The participant is fully reliable for any damages/harm done by either themselves, their dogs or the people that came with them. Barking Voices and the instructor do not take ANY responsibility for ANY damage/harm done to a person/s or a thing/s (e.g. buildings, cars, dogs, personal belongings etc.).
You are fully responsible for your own and your dogs` actions even while acting upon instructions of a trainer. Barking Voices cannot be asked to take over any costs for damage or harm done to you or your dog/s.
Barking Voices does not take any responsibility in case of injury or death of your dog/s, other animals or yourself or third parties.
Barking Voices takes all reasonable precautions within the structure of our training sessions to avoid injury resulting from dog bites. However, Barking Voices accepts no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from dog bites occurring to clients or their dogs while attending training sessions/seminars/courses/workshops. The Control of Dogs Act 1986 section 21 – “Liability of owner for damage by Dog” applies within our classes/seminars/workshops/trainings/introduction courses and on our premises or public premises (rented from a third party or owned).
All instances of accident or injury must be reported to the dog trainer/instructor at the time they occurred.

Clothing
With every event/service you will need good, comfortable shoes (hiking boots) and you need to be dressed appropriately for any weather conditions. The participant is responsible to inspect the quality and functionality of the harness, long lead and collar of the dog/s.
Copyright
All the copyright is reserved by Barking Voices. This includes material, videos, pictures, texts, etc.. Information in any form, provided during an event/service, in its original form or modified, can only be used/published with written consent from Barking Voices. Voice recordings and videos of any event/service have to be permitted by Barking Voices.
Non-Competition clause
Any individual participating in introduction courses, seminars, workshops, trainings or any other services that are offered by Barking Voices, agrees not to offer such or similar, to the general public or another business or third parties within the United Kingdom. This includes Mantrailing introduction courses, Mantrailing seminars, Mantrailing workshops, Mantrailing trainings within two consecutive years after the event.
Pictures and videos
In accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need to ask you for written permission to take your photo, by agreeing to these T&Cs you are giving us this consent. We also need your consent to have all your information and again by agreeing to these T&Cs you give us the permission to keep your details. It is your right though to at any point request your information to be deleted from our system.
Any photos taken will/can be used by Barking Voices for advertising or any other means that they need if you do not wish for your photos to be used YOU MUST state this before attending our classes or workshops.
These Terms and Conditions have been authored to assist our clients in getting the most they can from training with Barking Voices.
Our terms and conditions may change over time. The terms and conditions apply at time of booking. Revised terms and conditions apply to subsequent bookings.
